Semester 1 Reflection

I have thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of my time studying Fashion Communication and Promotion at Nottingham Trent University so far. Throughout Semester 1 I learnt so much and coming from a Fashion Promotion course at Level 3, I was worried that some aspects of the course would be repetitive to what I have already learnt. I am loving studying FCP and can't wait to continue in a couple of weeks.

The thing that I have learnt the most from this course is to pay attention. I now check Fashion websites daily, constantly read blogs, buy new magazines regularly, pin madly on Pinterest and receive emails from The Business of Fashion also. I don't find this to be a chore at all, and I get excited about Fashion more than ever. The next step is to gain some work experience over the Summer and although I am unsure what my ideal job would be, I believe any experience to be valuable.
