We started off the day with a coffee and muffin as usual and headed to Grand Central Terminal, the famous train station featured in Gossip Girl amongst many other TV shows and films. This station really does put Liverpool St and St Pancras to shame. The elaborate ceilings and light fittings are most surprising. We went looking for the whispering gallery and had fun talking to each other through the walls (sounds odd but look it up!)

We then went to MOMA. I have been before but only being 15 I hadn't appreciated art quite as much. We weren't there for hours and hours due to us needing lunch and being slightly grouchy but I enjoyed it all the same.

We then wandered to Carnegie Hall after seeing it on Bill Cunningham New York documentary. He doesn't live there any more but it's still an extremely legendary building.

We then visited the LOVE statue and had some lunch at Chipotle!

Central Park was next on our list and it was breath-taking. It'd snowed earlier that morning and the acres of land were covered in a layer of white. We walked through the park exploring until we reached the Metropolitan Museum however we didn't go in.

We then walked down Madison Ave where there was more designer stores (unbelievably!). We went into what felt like hundreds and I much preferred these to the 5th Ave stores as like in Chelsea, they were smaller and the staff were friendly and had time to chat to us about our degree and reason of visiting. The best store that we went to was Charlotte Olympia, shoe designer where the staff spent about half an hour talking to us and giving us look books. The store was so welcoming, a Diptique room spray made it smell amazing and they even had doggy biscuits for their customer's pups.
